Why, hello there, fellow writer

(Or aspiring writer if you’re not quite ready to call yourself a full-fledged writer yet. Because—baby steps.)

Admit it.

You want to know where the high paying writing clients are hiding.

And you can’t seem to figure out how some writers are able to make a living when you’re stuck responding to disrespectfully low paying writing gigs or unpaid writing opportunities. (Yuck.)

You’re ready to finally get published on a major publication so you can show off your byline. (Momma, I made it!)

This is where I come in.

I can help with all of the above: I can show you how to find quality clients, how to demand top dollar for your work, and how to pitch major publications so you can finally see your name in “lights.”

Because I’ve been through the trenches and done all of it myself as a woman of color with no connections.

Here’s a little bit of backstory: I started out with very humble beginnings writing $25 to $30 articles and slideshows for gossip and entertainment sites about Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, and other random topics.

After setting my sights higher, I started pitching and getting paid to write for different blogs. I did an unpaid content writing internship with Tiffany “The Budgetnista” Aliche that turned into a long-term paid contract position. (Shout out to the Dream Catchers and Unicorn Squad!)

And as my portfolio and experience grew, I was able to negotiate more $$$ for my work, making the leap from assignments that paid me $25 to $500, $600, $700, and even $1,000+ each.

Now, my work has been published on Entrepreneur, LendingTree, Upwork, and USA Today, LendingTree, and more.

But, I’m not anyone special

You can do this, too.

I grew up in a small town. I didn’t know anyone in media. I don’t have a writing degree. I didn’t even know what it meant to be a freelance writer.

I just knew I was good at writing, and I wanted to make extra money.

You can also get paid to write online for blogs, online publications, and businesses.

And I’ll give you the step-by-step of my process in the forthcoming course–PAID & PUBLISHED.

In this course, I’m dishing out pretty much everything I’ve learned in 6+ years of freelance writing. This isn’t information that I found on the internet and I’m regurgitating to you.

This course is all the of the tea I’m spilling from years of pitching clients, negotiating pay, and managing writing projects.

I’m going to be sharing details on the course over the next few days. And I hope you’ll be one of the first ones to get access :).
